Since 1961, Southern California's Favorite Bluegrass, Old-Time and Folk Music Festival

As you may have heard, Old Town in Paramount Ranch was severely damaged. The Topanga Banjo•Fiddle Contest & Folk Festival has used this venue for the last 24 years and it was an ideal location and a perfect setting for our event. We are now trying to determine the best course of action for future festivals. We will be in discussion with the National Park Service to see what options they may suggest. We’ll be in touch soon to let everyone know what direction the festival will be taking in the near future but rest assured, The Topanga Banjo•Fiddle Contest & Folk Festival is here to stay.

The Topanga Banjo•Fiddle Contest & Folk Festival is
ALWAYS the third Sunday in May.

Congrats to John Snyder!

And thank you to everyone who submitted this year. We love the creativity and inspiration.

John Snyder is a Los Angeles based artist and graphics designer. From his beginnings in Oklahoma and experiences traveling with a military family, he finds his true inspirations rooted in nature and music. He can always be found with a coffee mug in hand and blissfully losing himself in art.
